Team : Laurie Renoton

Hello Laurie! To start, can you introduce yourself?

Hello! My name is Laurie RENOTON, I am 32 years old and I am from the Bauges mountains.
I am a full-time mountain bike instructor.

What sport do you play? And for how long?

I am passionate about all outdoor sports, but my favorite sport is ski mountaineering.
With 10 years of competitive experience, I dedicate a good part of my winter to training and preparing for circuit races.

Aside from sports, what motivates you?

Outside of sport, what motivates me is my job, learning a discipline, gaining confidence, improving and giving my clients a taste for effort.
Sport, but in a shared and very different way.

Can you share with us some highlights from your sporting career?

My taste for effort and passion for ski mountaineering come from my parents; as a child, I would go and cheer them on at the big races. I then started at the very bottom... The first few years were a bit chaotic! Learning the technique took quite a while, but for the last four or five years, I've been able to perform quite well in the big races.

What is your best performance or your most memorable sporting moment?

My best performance remains my second place at the Pierra Menta in 2025, it is the culmination of a lot of time on skis and a sharing with my incredible teammate.

What is the most wonderful encounter that sport has offered you?

Sport has allowed me to meet a lot of wonderful people, many friends with whom I share training sessions or races.
These are always trustworthy people with whom teaming up on a race makes perfect sense, taking care of each other until the finish line.

…And your best day?

The best days for me are in the mountains, on skis and surrounded by my friends. Nothing too complicated.

Why did you agree to join the team and what do you like about COOKNRUN?

I I chose to join the COOKNRUN team firstly because the products are amazing! Secondly, because of their focus on local sourcing, which is a priority for me in my daily consumption. And finally, because of the brand's down-to-earth approach; I'm looking for an authentic team.

Do you have a favorite product in the range? Why that one?

I have a soft spot for the Energy chocolate peanut butter bar and its super indulgent side.

How would you describe your partnership with COOKNRUN in a few words?

A simple partnership built on trust.

What are your next goals or projects?

My next goals will be on skis, continuing preparation this autumn and then aiming for some major races and the national calendar.

What can we wish for you in the future?

Lots of snow this winter and lots of fun!

I look forward to sharing my world with you and thank you for your trust!
